A History of Women in the United States

by Rene Miller Paredes

This textbook focuses on women and their stories during the various time periods of United States history, including examples of the experiences of women and their point of view from their own writings whenever possible. Emphasis early on will be placed on English women and the laws of England, because while there are women from all over the world in the colonies, the area that became the United States was controlled by Great Britain, and their laws impacted all women in their colonies.
