Prof. Vinod Tiwari · IIT (BHU) Varanasi
About
This course General Pharmacotherapeutics provides a comprehensive and clinically oriented understanding of drug therapy for major human diseases. The course integrates pathophysiology, clinical features, rational pharmacological management, non-pharmacological interventions, and patient counseling across cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, endocrine, neurological, gastrointestinal, infectious, hematological, and oncological disorders. Major emphasis is placed on evidence-based drug selection, individualized therapy, adverse drug reactions, drug interactions, and special populations, making it highly relevant for pharmacy practice, clinical research, and healthcare industries.
Intended audience: Pharmacy professionals, Pharmacologists, Biologists, Biotechnologists
Prerequisites: The participants should have a basic knowledge of biology. A keen interest in the domains of biochemistry, physiology, and molecular biology is desirable.
