About

Compilation of various films. It opens with separate scenes of Sigmund and Martha Freud standing on a balcony or terrace overlooking the lake in Grundlsee, Austria, in late summer 1930. They are joined by Paulette Laforgue, the wife of René Laforgue. In another scene Anna Freud is shown standing by the lake at Grundlsee. Other scenes depict French psychoanalyst Jean Frois-Wittmann; Paulette and René Laforgue; Ruth Mack Brunswick and Mark Brunswick with a child, possibly their daughter Matilda; and Ernst Simmel. Later scenes show the Freuds at their rented summer residence in Pötzleinsdorf, Vienna, Austria. Freud reads while Martha Freud and Minna Bernays sit nearby and are joined by Princess Marie Bonaparte. The final scenes are of Marie Bonaparte with René Laforgue.
