Nutritional Epidemiology: A Way Towards a Healthy Life
Prof. Dhananjay D Mankar · Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai
About
This course introduces principles, methods, and applications of nutritional epidemiology — the study of dietary exposures and nutritional status in populations and their relation to health and disease. It equips students from public health, nutrition, medicine, life sciences and allied fields with conceptual knowledge of study designs, dietary assessment, measurement error, data analysis approaches, interpretation of results, and policy application
Intended audience: Undergraduate and Postgraduate students
Prerequisites: This course is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students from any discipline, especially those in life sciences, health, or wellness fields. While no prior course is mandatory, a basic understanding of human biology or nutrition will be helpful
