About this work

Capo Figari is a Sardinian promontory rich in maritime history. Thanks to its strategic location, it became the famous site of early wireless telegraphy experiments conducted by Guglielmo Marconi, where he proved shortwave radio’s range with a successful transmission in 1932 from Monte Figari to Rocca di Papa (Rome).
