About this work
The upper part of the depicted structure (floor and roof) was renovated in 1698 due to a serious earthquake that occurred in 1696 together with others that occurred over time, when the centuries-old tower of the Basilica of San Vitale was raised and transformed into a bell tower in the first half of the year 1000 by Benedictine monks.
