Stress and Strain Issues in Structural Geology

Prof. Soumyajit Mukherjee · IIT Bombay

Start with lecture 1 At NPTEL

About

Stress and strain concepts will be explained in structural geological contexts. Several interesting and easy to follow applications will be presented that are otherwise not possible to cover during tight schedule of semesters.

Intended audience: B.Sc. and M.Sc. students in Geology and Geophysics

Prerequisites: Basic geologic knowledge needed, so ideally the first semester of B.Sc. 1st Yr
