About this episode
京都には芸術家が集う「文化サロン」の役割を担ってきた寺院が数多く存在する。今回は、その中から３ケ寺を巡り、若きアーティストたちの情熱に迫る。京焼・清水焼の基礎を築いたとされる名工・野々村仁清ゆかりの仁和寺では、京都を拠点に活動している画家と陶芸家が共同制作した風鈴を紹介。
半夏生の庭園が有名な両足院では、３Ｄプリンターの技術を駆使した茶碗を紹介するほか、名作庭家・重森三玲の庭が見事な光明院では、住み込みで創作に励むアーティストの制作現場にカメラが潜入。古より続く寺院と芸術家たちとの交流の様子を伝える。
