About this episode

Mister Rogers starts off the day playing with blocks, and shares how when he was small, he was nervous to try building something with blocks because he didn't know how. However, he shares that the only way to learn something is by doing it. Mr. McFeely stops by to show Mister Rogers the wonderful portrait Bob Trow made of Mrs. McFeely and invites him to Bob's studio later that day to watch him work. In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, Robert Troll's beautiful portrait of King Friday inspires King Friday to ask all the neighbors to make their own artistic interpretations of him. Mr. McFeely and Mister Rogers visit the Neighborhood Art Center to see Bob Trow work on his portraits. While they visit, they meet ceramicist Bill Strickland, who shares about his work with clay. Inspired after his visit, Mister Rogers tries out finger painting, and talks about how there are many ways to show the art inside of you.
