About
As the United States marks 250 years of independence, this lecture explores Armenian American history through manuscripts, rare books, maps, photographs and other materials preserved at the Library of Congress. These items illuminate how individuals and families built lives in the United States while shaping Armenian American communities, culture and memory. The talk will be presented by Dr. Khatchig Mouradian, Armenian and Georgian Area Specialist at the Library of Congress, and will be accompanied by a curated display of selected items from the collections.
