Australian singer/songwriter Alana Wilkinson and New Zealand singer/songwriter Kerryn Fields performing the song “Give Me Your Love and I’ll Give You Mine” from the 2005 AFC Homegrown Concert “Dale Jett and the Carter Singers perform a Carter Family Tribute” (Carter Family tribute collection, AFC 2005/027). The American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress challenged musical artists to interpret material from its unparalleled archive of ethnographic recordings of traditional folk music. Artists were asked to put their own spin on these archival treasures, and to perform them at a special showcase during the Folk Alliance International conference in Kansas City, Missouri in 2024. The showcase was recorded for this webcast.
