About
Since December 2016 when the groundbreaking bipartisan 21st Century Cures Act was passed, the Library of Congress hosted the inaugural Panel Discussion on Cancer Moonshot. The Library's Health Services Division and Science, Technology & Business Division have been hosting the panel discussion. In February 2022, President Biden reignited Cancer Moonshot with new goals focused on ending cancer as we know it today. Due to the residual concern of the Covid19 pandemic, we are hosting this year's panel discussion on Cancer Moonshot as a webinar. This year's Cancer Moonshot brings leading scientists in high-energy physics to Immunology and microbiology to show advancement in cancer prevention, detection, and treatment.
