About

Grammy award-winning Los Angeles band La Santa Cecilia performs a mix of original songs and old classics. The group's brilliant instrumentalists and expressive lead singer "La Marisoul" create a seductive fusion of styles and influences in songs both original and traditional: from rancheras, salsa, cumbia and boleras, to the music of Santana, Ramón Ayala and Los Alegres de Terán. Selections from the concert: La Santa Cecilia; "I won't cry for you" (3:50); "Vámonos" (8:32); "En Fina" (12:04); "Nunca mas" (17:15); "Como Dios Manda" (22:32) Jose Alfredo Jimenez; "El ultimo trago" (27:10) La Santa Cecilia; "Calaverita" (29:52)
