About
In "Children of Virtue and Vengeance" (Henry Holt), the second book of the Legacy of Orisha, Tomi Adeyemi picks up the thread she began in "Children of Blood and Bone," taking Zelie into a civil war between the monarchy and the maji. As one critic said, the novel "poses thought-provoking questions about race, class and authority that hold up a warning mirror to our sharply divided society."
