About
The 2018 midterm elections have implications for not just the parties themselves, but for the entire American system of government. The Library's Kluge Center hosted an afternoon symposium for congressional staff and others with interest in the upcoming elections. The panel discussion focused on analysis that goes beneath the surface to consider the dynamics that characterize midterm elections as a rule, those that are particular to 2018, as well as what specific markers to watch as Election Day approaches. The Center partnered with American University's Center for Congressional and Presidential Studies (CCPS) for this program.
