About

Juan Felipe Herrera joined 140 third grade students to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of El dia de los ninos/el dia de los libros (day of the child/day of the book) sharing the Hispanic heroes in Herrera's nonfiction book "Portraits of Hispanic American Heroes." He taught the children an original song about DIA which he composed for this program and played along with various musical instruments.
