The base resolution of the LD rip is around 640x480 4:3, I upscaled it up to 1920x1080 @ 16:9 without stretching the video. This was done to prevent youtube from defaulting the max resolution to 360p since it can't handle HD video in a 4:3 aspect ratio for whatever reason.

So after a fair bit of TLC with color correction, this is about as good as it gets!

Rendered the youtube version in 4K to try and avoid Youtube's video compression.

This is my first try at remastering an OVA rip. The original LD rip was 480p and appeared to have been mastered or color corrected for a CRT display which leaves a grey film when viewed on an LCD.

First I upscaled the source to 720p since anything higher resulted in artifacts. (Rendered this in 4K to avoid Youtubes compression artifacts)

Second I tried to crunch the blacks without losing too much detail and made slight adjustments to the greens to bring it closer to a true CRT viewing experience.

Lastly, I ripped the audio and did some light mastering to reduce harshness in the high-end since some of the songs and voices were clipping slightly.

It's not perfect though some of the near-black detail is lost since they shared color space with the grey film and some of the harsher blues have been blown out.

In 10 years if I'm still kicking around I'll give the source LD Rip another remaster with whatever tools are available at the time. Cheers! o7
