About

This was the rare, televised airing of the underrated cult classic horror movie "HELL NIGHT" starring Linda Blair from Compass International Pictures that gave American and international audiences John Carpenter's 1978 iconic classic "Halloween"... and was featured a couple of times in 1985 on WOR-TV's Channel 9's decade old successful popular showcase "Four O'Clock Movie" program (formerly known in the 70s as the "4 O'Clock Movie"). The cult horror movie was only aired once on WOR-TV's "Fright Night" late show showcase.

The story concerns four pledgees on Initiation Night (a.k.a. "Hell Night") into Alpha Sigma Rho and its Sister Sorority, who agree to spend one night (a remaining six hours) in a mysterious and rumored to be haunted Century old Garth Mansion which was, according to legend, rumored to be the Estate of a murderous maniacal family with one hideously deformed surviving member who is believed by local legend to still reside in the Mansion waiting and hiding with his blood lust unabated. The four pledgees are soon swept into an unforeseeable nightmare... as they discover the truth of the history of the Garths and soon go missing one-by-one. Now that pledgee Marti (Linda Blair) knows the truth, all she wants to do is leave the manor unscathed but discovers the spiked gated fortress surrounding the mansion is virtually impossible climb, leaving no room for escape!

Starring Linda Blair, Vincent Van Patten, Peter Barton, Jenny Neumann, Kevin Brophy, Suki Goodwin, Jimmy Sturtevant. From the Makers of John Carpenter's "Halloween" Comes a New Darkside of Terror! Hell Night Theme Performed By Leza Miller.
