The Western Tradition (Remastered) ★ A "Lost" Annenberg Series - A.I. Upscaled to HD …

Somebody donated this A.I. Remastered Series to me.

The Other Page of "The Western Tradition" that I have posted, now, as of May 10th 2025, has new videos on it! You can watch, or download, these new videos here: https://archive.org/details/western-tradition-01-the-dawn-of-history

I got the Entire Series on DVD from RatterFat Video here: https://archive.org/details/the_western_tradition_isos and I used the DVDs he uploaded to make brand new videos with MKV Versions, Chapter Markers, and Some Subtitles! I Am grateful to RatterFat Video for that page, and many other series, in my collection.

I discovered, while extracting those new videos from the 13 DVD set, that only the first 26 Episodes have Subtitles! Episodes 27 through 52 do not have Subtitles because they were produced without them - but all 52 Episodes have Chapter Markers: in both the MKV, and MP4, versions.

In order to use the subtitles in Season #1 (the first 26 Episodes), in either the .MP4 - or the .MKV videos: you must download them to your device, and play them from there - with a media player (like VLC) that shows subtitles. (I noted that the subtitles in Episode #2 were faulty: and the second season #27-#52 has none.)

These videos, on this page, do NOT have Chapter Markers, or any Subtitles, in them - or Matroska 'Master' MKV videos available - so you may prefer to get the series from my Original Page instead.

The Western Tradition ★ one of the "Lost" Annenberg Media Collection.

WGBH, with Annenberg Media, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art developed the Series. It's "License Expired": so they took it off of learner.org and threw it away.

This Series is not for sale anymore. These high quality recordings were converted to HD 1080 format by A.I.
