About
Here's another blank VHS tape that I ripped expressly for the Internet Archive. This one opens with a two-and-just-over-a-half-hour block from March 31, 2003, opening with that evening's episode of "Crossing Jordan" on KVOA-TV4 in Tucson, and then going to an airing of "The Inner Tour" on the Sundance Channel. After that, we get a tiny bit of CNN footage, followed by an airing of "That Championship Season", as taped on April Fool's Day (but this isn't an April Fool's joke) from Showcase, an arthouse-centric channel of the Showtime tier. It's off to History International for the next part of the tape, an episode of "History Traveler" that was likely taped on the same day as the previous recording. The next, and last, item on the tape is probably of the most poorly-aged item of the era: an airing on the USA Network from April 6, 2003 of "Rudy: The Rudy Giuliani Story", a rose-colored, sugary telefilm treatment of the life of New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, which was made back when he was considered a legitimate hero of the Big Apple. Unfortunately, Rudy, in his post-mayoral life, turned out to be a total idiot, and with THAT in mind, social media users have ripped this film to shreds ever since Donald Trump lost the 2020 US presidential election. Surprisingly, it didn't land on RiffTrax yet, but it'd be a good candidate for an episode of that video podcast series.
Human-made No record of this work says a model made it. What this means.
