01) Some of the sound effects used in the time-travel sequences are the same as those used in the TV series The Time Tunnel (1966) and the feature film The Time Machine (1960).

02) Whit Bissell (Ralph Branly) previously played Walter Kemp in The Time Machine (1960).

03) The film takes place in September 1978, 1692, 1855 and 802701.

04) This is the only adaptation of "The Time Machine" in which the protagonist travels back in time before going forward in time.
