Nature - The Alps is a 2 part miniseries about the diverse landscapes and resilient wildlife of the Alps, highlighting how they deal with extreme seasonal changes. The documentary features various animals and their struggles against harsh weather conditions, the harsh winters and volatile summers, and the constant dangers: including avalanches and thunderstorms. This series showcases how various species adapt to the hazardous weather in this mountainous region. This PBS miniseries not only provides breathtaking visuals: but also educates viewers on the natural history and ecological significance of the Alps.
