About
A family whose descendants always turn into a bloodthirsty monster on their 18th birthday due to a druid curse. Today Michael turns 18 and his grandma gives him another Bible. But Michael doesn’t want to know anything about it because he has money debts. Nothing happens when the debt collectors beat him up, but when they kill his grandmother in his absence, he freaks out and turns into a bloodthirsty monster.
"The Evil Day" is the first full-length feature film from German splatter pioneer Timo Rose, made in 1992 when he was just a teenager. However, it wasn't until the year 2000 that the film was publicly released, in a loving VHS edition from Rose's own label SOI Film.
Also included on this tape are several trailers, a handful of bonus short films, and a 25-minute behind-the-scenes look at Rose's then upcoming film "Midnight's Calling".
