Ring ni Kakero 1 Pilot Film

This is the entire pilot film produced for Ring ni Kakero 1, ripped straight from the DVD released via mail order campaign by Shueisha that was advertised in the pages of Super Jump magazine at the end of 2003. It is included both as a straight "raw" video, as well as a version subtitled in English by myself, to the best of my abilities. This pilot was directed by Shigeyasu Yamauchi, likely during the production of the Saint Seiya: Tenkai-hen ~Overture~ movie that would come out in 2004, & the entire soundtrack for this pilot is just selected tracks from Seiji Yokoyama's Saint Seiya score. This pilot predates the later TV anime adaptation that would be produced by Toei in 2004, which would then be followed up by three more seasons in 2006, 2010, & 2011.

Also included are two of the extras included on the DVD, which are a short interview with creator Masami Kurumada about his feelings towards the pilot itself, as well as a "History of" video regarding the Ring ni Kakero manga's overall plot that is narrated by voice actor Kazuya Nakai, who voices Theseus in the pilot film (& later Season 4 in 2011). Neither of them are subtitled, at the moment. Finally, there is also a scan of the sleeve that the DVD itself was packaged in.
