Psychology - The Human Experience ★ A "Lost" Coast Learning Telecourse with Closed Captions, Books, and MKV

Consider this an introduction, maybe an advanced introduction, to the subject of Psychology. This is a college level course suitable for educator review of the subject - or general learning by members of the public … inclined to be interested in it.

The Course itself advocates that it is for everyone - because the mental health of everyone has an influence on everyone else around them. Being proactive is the surest path to happiness, they might argue. Much of this material is still as relevant as it was, over 25 years ago in 2001, when it was released - See the first 2 minutes of episode #20 "Attitudes" to hear the literal truth about racism in the USA in the year 2026. (A lot of meat on these bones, here - quite a bit to study and digest!)

Description:

A college telecourse based on the textbook "Psychology" written by Don and Sandra Hockenbury and published by Worth Publishers. This telecourse offers insights into key concepts and principles of psychology through a focus on human experience.

Interviews with subject matter experts, researchers, and other experts in the field of psychology are used to explain and apply psychological concepts: in twenty six (26) … twenty eight (28) minute long programs. Each video is a complete lesson, and utilizes original videography of biological processes, as well as historical and contemporary research. Stories of challenge, relationships, investigation, hope, and inspiration are told using original footage of real life case studies. Animated three-dimensional computer graphics of life processes and concepts are also incorporated in each lesson.
