About

"Obscurus Legatus" is a 1993 German low-budget horror/splatter film directed by Marc Tom Felde. It was filmed in Hamburg on a budget of 9,000 DM. Marc Tom Felde would later attempt to make a short film, but it remained unfinished and was never released.

"During the video recording of a spiritual ritual, a prostitute is murdered. This ritual revives the spirit of a heretic who was burned at the stake in the Middle Ages. By chance, the tape falls into the hands of two young men, who learn the hard way that this is no joke. Through further investigation and a series of gruesome murders—all while being pursued by the prostitute’s killer—they slowly begin to unravel the mystery..."

I originally uploaded this film to the Internet Archive in 2023, when all I had was a less-than-stellar VHS to DVD bootleg copy. However, I recently obtained an official German DVD copy (released by Rare & Strange Movies), and this release constitutes the best available quality version of the film.

You can still check out my original upload here:
