About

Nadia Secret of Blue Water is a 1990 anime directed by Anno Hideaki, and was based on 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne.

In 1992, Streamline licensed the series, simply renaming it "Nadia" and created an English dub produced by Carl Macek, and released it on home video under their "Video Comics" label. However only 8 episodes were dubbed, and although there were plans for it to be broadcasted on TV, they were dropped for unknown reasons (though it could be that they found it to be unsuitable for children).

The dub is now out-of-print and can be hard to come across nowadays, especially since that it was overshadowed by the more well known ADV dub. So please enjoy this rare dub of Nadia. I plan on uploading more episodes if I get ahold of any more tapes.
