About
Visual Epilepsy Warning: At 29:45 in the first movie, there's a strobe light effect. It lasts for about 15 seconds. In the second movie, there's a strobe light effect near the beginning when Nurarihyon gains his powers, and later on when Backbeard uses his beam against Kitaro.
This is an extremely rare dub of the fourth Gegege no Kitaro anime, approved of by Toei and done by WIlliam Winckler Productions. These "movies" are actually a collection of episodes, specifically, episodes 60, 64, 78, and 113 for the first movie, and 96, 97, 98, and 99 for the second one. Each episode centers around the villain Nurarihyon, who plays a much bigger role in the second film. Japanese subs are super imposed onto the film, as this dub was originally only available in Japan.
Edit (12/11/2021): Wanted to add some more details about how I acquired this dub, since I was sort of vague in my original description. A handful of Winckler's other dubs were available on different streaming sites in Japan, but Graveyard Gang was only available on Toei's official streaming service. You needed an IP address located in Japan to access the site, and from there, you had to pay a fee to watch the films. Also, you could only watch them for a few days, before you had to pay the fee again. I purchased the films using WebMoney, and from there I was able to watch them. It wouldn't let me download them, though. I had to record my screen using OBS, and let the movies play while my computer was idle. If you see any video quality issues, that's probably why... sorry about that.
Again, I hope you enjoy!! This dub is pretty cheesy, but I've grown oddly attached to it. I hope one day to find the Animax Asia English dubs for the fourth and fifth Kitaro series.
