About
Inside Out is an Emmy Award winning Elementary School film series: with MKV versions - and the complete 96 page Teacher's Guide. . _ . My thanks goes out to Ian Parker and Rennard Cotton for donating this Complete Series to the Lost Telecourses collection. . _ . Inside Out was a series of thirty 15-minute color educational programs designed to help eight-to-ten-year-old children achieve and maintain well-being. The programs and related materials were created, under the supervision of the National Instructional Television Center, through the resources of a consortium of thirty three educational and broadcasting agencies - with additional support from the Exxon Corporation.
These videos were converted from old filmstrips that were shown in the classroom - seeing as how they are from 1973: some of these videos exhibit film artifacts related to ancient films - such as the color being off, or sometimes lines running through the picture. These video artifacts should not affect the material for learning purposes.
As a special added bonus: I dug the complete 96 page Teaching Guide out of its grave - where it had been moldering since 1973 - this course is much more valuable if you use the teaching guide as you show each video to your students. The teaching guide has the recommended activities - and review questions, and full episode descriptions: for each video.
Made in 1972 - 1973 for the National Instructional Television Center.

From Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inside/Out_(American_TV_series)
"Inside/Out is an American educational television series that aired from January 31, 1972, to December 21, 1973, on PBS.
The show was produced from 1972 to 1973 by the National Instructional Television Center (NIT), in association with various contributing stations, such as KETC in St. Louis, Missouri, WVIZ in Cleveland Ohio, WNVT-TV in Northern Virginia, and The Ontario Educational Communications Authority. It was one of the last programs to be produced by NIT; the organisation would be reformulated as the Agency for Instructional Television (AIT) in April 1973.
Funding for Inside/Out was provided by grants from 32 different educational agencies within the United States and Canada, with additional support from Exxon Corporation.
