Ghost Stories (Gakkou no Kaidan) - Complete Series [English Dub, 1080p]

About

Ghost Stories (Gakkou no Kaidan) is a Japanese horror-comedy anime that follows the adventures of Satsuki Miyanoshita and her friends as they navigate spooky encounters in their new town. After moving to her late mother's hometown, Satsuki discovers that her mother once sealed malevolent spirits in the local school. Unfortunately, these spirits are accidentally released, forcing Satsuki, her younger brother Keiichirou, their friends Hajime, Leo, and Momoko, and their talking cat, Kaya, to confront and seal the ghosts before they wreak havoc.

While originally intended as a straightforward horror series, Ghost Stories gained a cult following for its English dub, which transformed the anime into a dark comedy filled with self-aware humor, satirical dialogue, and absurd improvisation by the voice actors. The juxtaposition of eerie supernatural elements with over-the-top comedic moments makes the show a unique and memorable experience.

Whether you're in for genuine ghost lore or the hilarity of the dub's unconventional approach, Ghost Stories offers something for fans of both horror and comedy.
