The Abyss ★ "Rescued" BBC Ocean Documentary in 2 Languages with MKV - Audio in Russian OR English … Subtitles in Russian ONLY

I found the original DVD source materials here: https://archive.org/details/abyss_2002_iso I am grateful to RatterFat Video for posting this! Thank you for sharing - RatterFat Video!

Peter Snow presents highlights from today's three deep-sea dives around the world. In 2002 BBC organized three concurrent dives , first in Monterey Bay where unmanned submersible is lowered into underwater canyon which is over mile deep. Second dive is in Grand Cayman where submersible Atlantis will explore life at the spectacular Cayman Wall - Kate Humble reports . During the dive, the crew used bait to attract a deep-water giant, the six-gill shark. Third dive takes place in middle of the Atlantic 1200 miles west of Portugal, which is also deepest of the three dives, divers will descent in Russian submersible Mir from research vessel Keldish and the Mir will dive in the bottom of the ocean in 2300 meters.

Unfortunately: the Archive derived the video from this ISO image, on that page, with the Russian Language playing {and discarded the English Language track, and the Russian subtitles, completely} - which wrecked it for the English speaking audience - and I had to charge in and rescue this BBC Documentary.

IF you wanted to just watch this in Russian … please go to that other page and play the video there.

This version of the video - in either MP4 or MKV versions - has audio language tracks in Russian OR English [with English as the default language], Chapter Markers, and Subtitles in Russian ONLY (the subtitles can be switched on - they are off by default).

Pro Usage Tip: 🔑 In order to use either of the 2 language audio tracks, the chapter markers, or the Russian subtitles - in either the .MP4 or the .MKV videos: you must first download the videos to your device, and then play them from there - preferably using a free & open source media player (like VLC - https://www.videolan.org/vlc/ ) that shows subtitles. 🔑
