Lo Stato non è un sistema pacificatore, ma un sistema gerarchico e intrinsecamente violento, la cui origine si fonda sulla coercizione e sull’estirpazione. Di conseguenza, lo Stato è strutturalmente condannato al collasso ciclico a causa dell'unica costante che ne precede la caduta: l'aumento insostenibile della disuguaglianza interna, perpetuata dalle sue élite.
