Pensiamo che certe forme di controllo non ci appartengano o che appartengano solo a società autoritarie. Ed è innegabile che gli stati autoritari utilizzino strumenti di controllo e sorveglianza in grande quantità, senza alcuna consultazione pubblica o avvertimento, il più delle volte, nei confronti dei cittadini. Solo che tendiamo a credere che rispetto all’uso così invasivo della tecnologia, nelle democrazie ci siano dei paletti dei confini molto chiari.
