Today I want to share one final preview article from our first issue of Homemaker’s Journal.
So often we think of celebration as our idea—something we plan when life goes well. But in Scripture, celebration begins with God.
In today’s episode, Amber Davis will show us that the Father’s heart isn’t distant or disinterested—He’s a welcoming God who sets the table of celebration, calls His children in close, and says, "Come and partake."
This article was originally published in Homemaker’s Journal, Issue no 1, spring/summer 2026.

Reflection Questions
• Our God is the ultimate host of celebrations because He initiates and delights in them. How does this change the way you see your life and the way you gather with others? • As His image-bearers, we have the opportunity to use the joy-filled seams woven into our calendar to remember His goodness and share his heart with others. Who might you need to make room for at the table and how will you extend a personal invitation to your celebration?
