Send me a text about this episode!

Today we’re talking decor, but we are going beyond style and trends to look at sentimental decorating—choosing meaning over what’s trending and letting our homes hold the real stories of our lives.

My guest is Brittany Shepard who is known as the Sentimental Decorator online. Today we are diving deeper into Brittany’s passion, helping others become storykeepers in their homes. A storykeeper is someone who doesn’t save special things “for someday,” but lives with them—uses them, displays them, and allows the memories they carry bring comfort, joy, and even a place for grief to land.

In This Episode:

• How to curate keepsakes without clutter • How to decide what to hold onto (and what to let go) • Practical ways to create a meaningful home—without buying anything new. • How our belongings can help us honor the stories that formed us in the past while also shaping the story we’re living right now.
