[Episódio em Inglês - Legendado em vídeo]

In this episode, I speak with Sara Portell. Sara is the founder of Human-Centric Responsible AI, where she supports organisations in understanding how people actually use and experience artificial intelligence, and in making more informed decisions about wellbeing, safety, ethics and governance.

Over more than 17 years, she has worked across product management, behavioural research and user experience in global organisations including Shopify, Expedia, F-Secure and Unit4. She holds a Master’s degree in Behavioural Science from the London School of Economics, and is currently completing doctoral research in the Psychology of Emotions and Wellbeing at Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

Her recent research includes the role of AI in career development and wellbeing, particularly how these technologies can support people while also raising important questions about bias, agency, trust and accountability.

In this episode, we will explore AI and psychological wellbeing: its opportunities, its emotional and ethical risks and the growing role of human–AI interaction in our lives.
