Episode Kristi Hemric (@stoopandthecity) on Raising Kids in a City & Halloween at the Stoop
Kristi Hemric is raising four kids in New York City, and the stoop of her townhouse has become a full-on neighborhood event.
When scaffolding from the building next door covered her house for almost three years, Kristi hung pink flowers over the front door just to make herself happier. Then people started stopping to take pictures. Renee and Kristi talk about choosing the city over the suburbs, why she and her husband build every stoop themselves with their kids, the couples who now propose on her steps, and a Halloween night that went through 18,000 pieces of candy and 2,000 Lego kits by 7:30! Kristi also admits she still gets the ick saying the word influencer at a school cocktail party.
