Episode What was that one mediocre movie your family owned on VHS that you were absolutely obsessed with?
A tweet from @90STALGIC has sparked a very specific kind of millennial nostalgia.
That one movie your family happened to own on VHS when you were about 12 the movie you watched so many times that you knew every line, every scene, and every song, even though, looking back now, it really wasn’t that good.
But that’s the thing about childhood: you don’t remember the movie for its reviews or its Rotten Tomatoes score. You remember sitting in front of that TV, rewinding the tape, watching it for what felt like the hundredth time. It could have been a completely mediocre movie, but because it was YOUR movie, nobody was allowed to disrespect it.
