Een piep, een suis, een fluit- of bromtoon, aanhoudend in je oor. Tinnitus komt in verschillende verschijningen en kan gekmakend zijn. De wetenschap zoekt al decennialang tevergeefs naar een oplossing. Twee Nederlandse wetenschappers hebben nu een apparaat ontworpen waarmee ze met elektrische signalen in de oorzenuwen tinnitus proberen te verhelpen. Zal dit de oplossing zijn?
