Math 420: Differential Equations

by Ron Breitenbach

This text is written for students in science, engineering, and mathematics who have completed single variable calculus. This course will cover the theory and the applications of the solutions of ordinary differential equations and systems of ordinary differential equations. The course will introduce students to various topics useful in the solution of differential equations including power series, Laplace transforms, matrices, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, and numerical methods.
