Sepia-toned photo of a person with hair in a bun, wearing a patterned top, standing with their back to the camera in a wooded area. The image is slightly rotated.

In this issue, Paloma, the editor of PLUMA, introduces herself to the learners and shares the introductions of the immigrants living in the United States whose stories will be shared in installments in subsequent issues of PLUMA.

As you read and listen, be thinking about how you would introduce yourself and the people you know.
