About this recording
In this thrilling and horrific installment of the Weird Tales Double Feature, we have the final two novelettes published within the Cthulhu mythos by H. P. Lovecraft during his lifetime (he would die a scant two months after the publication of The Thing on the Door-Step).
Weird Tales on The Haunter in the Dark:
"A powerful story about an old church
in Providence, Rhode Island, that was
shunned and feared by all who knew it."
Weird Tales on The Thing on the Door-Step:
"A powerful tale by one of the supreme
masters of weird fiction—a tale in which the
horror creeps and grows, to spring at last
upon the reader in all its hideous totality." - Summary by Ben Tucker
