The image is a pencil sketch of a town along a river. The perspective is from the riverbank facing the town, with hills in the background and the town situated between the hills and the river's edge. The horizon is positioned in the upper third of the composition. The lines in the drawing depict the architecture and landscape with precision and without shading. Details of rocks and vegetation are shown near the riverbank, leading to the town's rooftops and towers. The color scheme is monochromatic, with light grey paper and dark pencil lines.
