The image shows the full back view of a person standing in front of an easel. The individual is in a relaxed stance, holding a brush in their right hand and painting on the canvas. Their head is slightly bent forward, and they have medium-length wavy hair. They are wearing a loose, long coat and trousers, and there is a patterned cloth on a chair nearby. The canvas on the easel displays a sketch of an elderly man's head and body. The setting features simple linework representing a wooden floor and an indistinct white background.
