The sculpture is a circular medallion featuring a side profile of a man wearing a hat and an elaborate robe with a high collar. The man has detailed, flowing shoulder-length hair and intricate carvings on his attire. The medallion is made of aged brass or bronze and includes an inscription around the perimeter in a circular fashion. There is a hole at the top for hanging. The surface of the medallion shows signs of wear, with scratches and patina.
