The image shows a man seated at a table with his arms resting on it, facing to the right. He has a curly beard and mustache, thick wavy hair, wears a dark jacket over a light-colored shirt. On the table are a pitcher and a shallow dish with a small round object. In the background, there is a shelf with decorative items, including a large urn or vase and various smaller objects. The style is an etching with intricate linework, creating texture and depth. The scene appears to be indoors with a softly detailed background.
