The image is an etching depicting a rural landscape. It shows a view from a slightly elevated perspective, with clusters of detailed trees in the foreground. The horizon is in the upper third of the image, where a small figure is visible. The intricate cross-hatching technique conveys texture and depth, with a monochromatic color palette using shades of black and gray to represent light and shadow.
