The image shows an etching of a woodland scene with towering trees and a distant horizon obscured by dense foliage. The intricate brushwork depicts details of foliage and tree bark in monochrome tones. Two figures are depicted in the scene, one standing near a path and another reclining against a tree in the distance. Light filters through the leaves, illuminating the scene.
