The sculpture depicts a deer in a seated position with its body on the ground. The deer's head is turned slightly to the side. It is crafted from bronze with a dark brown and green patina. The sculpture showcases detailed features such as the legs, coat, hoofs, ears, and face. It rests on a bronze oval base, creating a naturalistic setting. The piece captures the delicate form of a young deer in a peaceful state.
