About this work

Palamuse Parish School's classroom. This 19th century classroom is now a part of a museum that bears the name of writer Oskar Luts, who studied there and wrote the book Kevade about his schooldays. It remains his best know work and the film adaption of the novel (that was also shot in Palamuse) is regarded as the best Estonian film in the 20th century.
